Welcome to your weekend!
It’s Fab Five Friday when you get to see five of my favorite things this week. Enjoy!
Heathen Web: Dr. Karl Seigfried writes the Norse Myth Blog. It’s one of the best resources for Modern Heathens on the web. He’s currently publishing an interview series with author and Sociologist Jennifer Snook on American Heathens. She put together the first long running study of Heathens in America in order to understand the subculture. This is a must read!
American Heathens: Jennifer Snook is the author of the book American Heathens: The Politics of Identity in a Pagan Religious Movement. Her work is vitally important to Heathenism at large. It is the first long-term ethnographic study of the subject in the field of sociology that is peer reviewed, academic, and takes a long hard look at American Heathens. Jennifer is also an American Heathen. Go get a copy today. It is going to form and shape conversations for years to come.
My Best Facebook Post This Week: Happy Equinox everyone! Here we stand at the balance of light and dark before the coming cold and the growing night. Count your blessings, and celebrate the dwindling days. Grab your favorite warm beverage as a shield against the chill in the autumn air. Watch the leaves explode into fall colors. May you all be blessed with a bountiful harvest!
A Little Perspective: We have never seen a complete proper scale model of our solar system. Until now. Watch this amazing video.

Fab Five Friday, out! Throwing down the mic and walking off stage.
