Welcome to your weekend!
It’s Fab Five Friday when you get to see five of my favorite things this week. Enjoy!
Tunes: It’s a throwback this time. Don’t Play No Game That I Can’t Win by The Beastie Boys. ‘Nuff Said.
Favorite Blog Post: John Beckett, a widely known and respected Modern Druid, has an incredible article on Escaping Fundamentalism. I’ve never lived through these extreme religious positions. However, I’ve seen the long term damage it does on friends over the years. This one is worth the time to read and understand.
Autumn Equinox Web: You’ll find a lot of ideas to celebrate the Autumn Equinox all over the web. Some are better than others. I recommend checking out Molly at Heathen At Heart as she gives 5 Tips To Celebrate The Equinox.
Please Donate!: There is no cure for Type 1 Diabetes. That’s why I created the Skate For Diabetes. This event raises money for the JDRF to help fund their research for the cure. You can make a donation online. It’s quick and easy. Please, help us make a difference in the lives of so many. The event is Saturday, September 26th from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Silver Star Skate Center in Mattoon, Illinois.

That’s a wrap.
Fab Five Friday, out! Throwing down the mic and walking off stage.
May you enjoy a weekend full of discovery and wonder with many reasons to love and laugh!
