Welcome to your weekend!
It’s Fab Five Friday when you get to see five of my favorite things this week. Enjoy!
Listen: Once in a while you catch a remake of a song that makes your ears happy. That’s what happened when this restyled version of Jump Around by Everlast came on the radio.
Best News This Week!: Ladies and Gents, the Chicago Cubs are going to the NLCS for the first time since 2003! The Cubs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in the NLDS in four games in order to advance. This was the first time the Cubs won a postseason series in Wrigley Field, and it was much sweeter by beating the Cards in the first ever playoff match up between the two teams. I’ve been a nearly fanatic Cubs fan my entire life. This is exciting! We don’t get to see the Cubs compete at this level very often. However, this is no longer our Grandfather’s Cubs. Get used to winning. Fly The W!!!
Check This Out: The Modern Mystic Podcast released episode 3! I’ve been waiting a while for that one to show up. Go enjoy an hour of two very skilled witches having a conversation about spirits.
Changing The Narrative: Kiran Sidhu is trying to shine a light on grief and the way we handle it. Death and loss are not dealt with openly in the West. We tend to hide it from our children, avoid our own emotions, and pretend we are okay when we may need help. This article starts a necessary conversation.
Pagan Web: Molly Khan asks us to think about our labels and what they might mean. Molly also took the time to suggest five ways you can start honoring your ancestors. Molly Khan is an up and coming voice in Paganism and Heathenism. I highly recommend reading her entire blog.

That’s a wrap.
Fab Five Friday, out! Throwing down the mic and walking off stage.
