Welcome to your weekend!
It’s Fab Five Friday when you get to see five of my favorite things this week. Enjoy!
Read: I’m a big fan of modern Heathen, Pagan, and Occult bloggers. I appreciate the time they take to share their practices and thoughts with the world. It takes no effort at all to be a critic. It requires courage and integrity to put yourself out there for all the world to see. One of my favorites is Molly Khan. She’s sharing her thoughts, methods, and more on Heathen At Heart. Go check her out.
My Favorite Event This Week: CIL-CON took over our local mall this weekend. It was two days of paranormal awesomeness! The event brought some well known faces in the paranormal along with local people selling goods and services. The event had a great vibe. I met some wonderful people, and I even picked up a new Tarot Deck. The Ghost Tarot is a no-brainer at a Paranormal Convention. Right??? Were you there? They would like you to complete this quick survey!
Snoop This: I’m a geek for all things Halloween, spooky, and fun horror themes. Add that mix into a Tarot deck and I’m all in. Take my money! The Horror Comic Tarot / Twisted Tarot Tales project keeps posting finished cards. They had me with hello. Each card snaps me into my childhood. I loved all the horror movies when I was a kid in the 80’s. I loved the Freddy cutouts next to the Elvira posters in video rental stores. I imagined monsters behind every tree, and werewolves under every full moon. Go check out their Facebook Page!
New Addition I’m Excited About: I saw a friend posing a drinking horn coffee mug on Instagram. I learned they are made by a great company with holders / sleeves that stand the horn up. What’s a good modern Heathen to do? Order! The company is Goat Story. Check out their story. Thor approves! Now I’m waiting for the arrival of my new horn. It’s going on the altar for ritual use. I love it when the old and new come together in a beautiful synchronicity. Go pr-eorder one for yourself!
